Great value for money! The room was clean, modern, and beautifully decorated. The location of the hotel was excellent, just a short walk from the waterfront. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and they even allowed us to store our bags while we went on a short trip to Bako. Plus, having a hairdryer in the bathroom was a nice touch.
The breakfast could have been better with more variety.

I recently stayed at Hornbill'S Nest and had a pleasant experience. The location is fantastic, right in the heart of the city, surrounded by restaurants and in Chinatown. The bed was comfortable, and despite the thin walls, I had a good night's sleep. The staff at the front desk were friendly and accommodating, allowing me to check in early without any hassle. The cleanliness of the rooms and shared bathroom was satisfactory. The WiFi coverage was great throughout the property, and there was no disturbance from rowdy or drunk guests. I appreciated the gender separation in the dormitories, providing a more comfortable environment. I would recommend this hotel for its convenient location and welcoming atmosphere.
There were a few minor drawbacks during my stay. The wooden floors in the corridor made a lot of noise, and the walls were quite thin, allowing sounds from adjacent rooms to be heard.

The guest rooms at Hornbill's Nest Kuching are amazing! They all come with air conditioning, which is a major plus for us as we love to keep cool during our sleep. The rooms have everything we needed for a good night's rest and some of them even have a cozy seating area. We especially loved the double room with an electric kettle, perfect for making a hot cup of tea before bed.
I have to admit, the shared bathroom in the rooms was not my favorite. But hey, that's just my personal opinion and I know others might not mind it at all.

Great location, right in the heart of the city and close to the main riverside promenade. Lots of food options nearby. Basic amenities provided, including lockers for securing personal belongings. Stunning view from the rooftop balcony.
The guesthouse is quite old and not well maintained. The facilities are run down and need to be replaced.

The location of this hotel was fantastic, just a minute's walk from the waterfront and close to bars and restaurants. Being able to easily explore the area and enjoy the local nightlife was a huge plus. the wifi provided was outstanding, making it easy to stay connected and plan out my holiday activities.
It would have been helpful to have some shelves or drawers to keep personal items organized. Another downside was the lack of windows in most of the rooms, which made them feel a bit cramped.

The location of the hotel is excellent, situated in the heart of the city with bars, a 24hr mini market, and a food court nearby. The room was quaint and cozy, with a comfortable bed. The staff provided warm hospitality and the WiFi coverage was fantastic.
The communal sink in the shared shower and toilets was not appealing. There was also noise from the wooden floor to the toilet and some guests were not considerate with the use of the hairdryer early in the morning.

We were also impressed with the fantastic WiFi coverage and the organized dormitory that offered gender separation. the location was perfect, right by the waterfront with plenty of street food options and a shopping mall nearby. our experience was excellent and we would definitely stay here again when in the area. Cons: Can't think of anything 😊.

The location was perfect, with plenty of bars and restaurants nearby. We had a blast exploring Sarawak Stadium and Harmony Arch Kuching, which were both just a short distance away. The property was super trendy and the wifi was dope - perfect for sharing epic Instagram pics with our squad!
The only thing that could have made our stay even more epic would be a banging party scene. We had a great time exploring the city, but it would have been awesome to have some fun activities or events organized specifically for young party-goers like us.

I stayed at Hornbill's Nest for a week while exploring the city. The newly renovated rooms were clean and tidy, and the staff, particularly Sharon and Irma, provided warm and equal hospitality. The towel and blanket were neatly presented, and the WiFi coverage was fantastic. I appreciated the gender-separated dormitory and the airy living spaces with open windows. The plain-colored walls created a lively and welcoming atmosphere. Additionally, the location was great, with plenty of food stalls nearby and a stunning view from the rooftop balcony.
Can't recommend highly enough this hotel.
